Emergency Dental Care
Same-day assessment for pain, swelling, trauma and broken teeth.
An emergency appointment is about relief and diagnosis: settle the pain, control any infection, stabilize what is broken, and then plan the definitive repair once you are comfortable.
We will not rush you into a large treatment plan while you are in pain and not thinking clearly. Very often the right sequence is to relieve the problem today and decide about the permanent restoration at a calmer appointment.
Existing patients and new patients are both welcome to call. If we genuinely cannot see you fast enough, we will tell you where to go rather than leave you waiting.

Common questions
Emergency Dental Care
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe or worsening pain, facial swelling, trauma to teeth or jaw, bleeding that will not stop, and a knocked-out adult tooth. Swelling that reaches the eye or affects breathing or swallowing is a hospital emergency — go straight there.
I knocked out a tooth. What now?
Pick it up by the crown, not the root. If it is dirty, rinse briefly with milk or saline. Reinsert it if you can, otherwise keep it in milk or your saliva and come immediately.
Should I take antibiotics?
Antibiotics alone rarely resolve a dental infection because they do not reach the dead tissue inside the tooth. The source needs treating — that is what the appointment is for.
