Inside the Langdon Smiles Dental clinic

About

Why Us

A new clinic built around one idea: that precise, modern dentistry and a genuinely calm visit are not a trade-off you should have to make.

Our philosophy

We care for the person behind the smile

Langdon Smiles is a new, boutique dental clinic redefining the traditional patient experience with a modern, wellness-first approach.

We believe a beautiful smile is a lifetime investment, and that your care should be just as enduring. Our approach pairs modern clinical precision with a calming, patient-first philosophy: we do not just treat teeth, we care for the person behind the smile, so every visit is grounded in comfort, clarity and trust.

Nestled in the heart of the community, the practice moves away from cold, intimidating dental visits and welcomes you instead into a beautifully designed, calming environment driven by state-of-the-art technology.

Six reasons

What actually makes a visit here different

01

A lab in the building

Our digital denture lab is on site, not in another city. Adjustments that would normally mean posting an appliance away and waiting a week happen the same day, with you in the chair and the technician standing next to it.

02

Digital from the first visit

3D cone-beam imaging, intraoral scanning and digital smile design replace the impression tray and the guesswork. You see what we see on a screen beside the chair, which is how a recommendation becomes something you can look at rather than take on trust.

03

Two dentists, two specialisms

Dr. David Bissett brings the precision of an elite athlete's discipline to restorative and cosmetic work. Dr. Deb Crowfoot brings decades of trusted Alberta practice, a famously gentle way with children, and advanced sleep dentistry.

04

Comfort is a plan, not a promise

Nitrous oxide, oral sedation and full general anesthesia with a qualified anesthetist. Dental anxiety is common and it is not something you should have to push through alone.

05

The conservative option first

Enamel you keep is enamel you have for life. Where bonding will do what a veneer would, we will offer you the bonding — and tell you plainly when it will not.

06

No surprises at the desk

We follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide, direct-bill most insurers, and give you a written estimate before treatment starts. You never find out what something costs after it is done.

Technology

Precision you can see on a screen

Advanced 3D imaging maps bone, nerves and sinuses before an implant is ever planned. Intraoral scanning replaces impression putty, so a crown, a night guard or a denture is designed from a file rather than from a tray that moved. Digital smile design lets you approve the shape of a smile before a tooth is touched.

None of that is technology for its own sake. It is what allows us to be conservative, to be accurate first time, and to show you the reasoning instead of asking you to take it on faith.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked

I have had a bad experience at a dentist before.

You are in good company — a great many of our patients arrive after years away, usually for exactly that reason. Tell us when you book. We will allow extra time, agree a signal so you can stop us at any point, and explain everything before it happens rather than during.

What makes this different from any other clinic?

Three things, honestly: the lab is in the building, the workflow is digital end to end, and there are sedation options up to full general anesthesia. Together those mean fewer appointments, fewer referrals elsewhere, and no treatment that has to be abandoned because someone cannot face it.

Do you take patients of all ages?

Yes, from a child's first tooth to full and partial dentures. Being able to book a family into one clinic on one afternoon matters more than it sounds like it should.

Where are you and when are you open?

We are on Vale View Road in Langdon. Reception is open monday – friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, and closed at weekends. Call (403) 936-2866 and we will find you a time.

Book a first visit, or just call and ask us anything. We would rather answer a question now than have you put off an appointment for another year.
