Digital Dentures

Scanned, designed and made in our own lab — full or partial.

Digital dentures are designed from a scan rather than built up from impression putty. The fit is more precise, the process takes fewer appointments, and — because the design is a file — an exact replacement can be made if one is ever lost or broken.

We make both full dentures, replacing a complete arch, and partials that clasp to your remaining teeth. Implant-retained overdentures, which snap onto implants instead of relying on suction, are an option where a lower denture will not stay put.

Our in-house lab is the part patients notice most. Adjustments that would normally mean posting a denture away and waiting a week happen the same day, in the building, with you in the chair.

About feesWe follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide and direct-bill your insurer wherever your plan allows it. Because every mouth is different, we give you a written treatment estimate before any work begins — never a surprise at the desk.

Common questions

Digital Dentures

How long until they feel normal?

Speech usually settles within a week or two; eating takes longer and improves with practice. Expect a few adjustment visits early on — that is normal, not a sign anything is wrong.

What if my lower denture will not stay in?

Lower arches offer far less suction than uppers. Two implants and a snap-in attachment transform stability, and we can talk through whether that suits you.

Do dentures need replacing?

Yes. Your jaw ridge changes shape over the years, so dentures need relining periodically and remaking eventually — commonly around every five to ten years.
