Porcelain Veneers
Thin bonded facings that reshape colour, alignment and proportion.
A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain bonded to the front of a tooth. Used well, veneers correct colour, shape, small gaps and mild crowding in one step — and look entirely unremarkable, which is the point.
Veneers are a commitment: preparing a tooth for one is not reversible. So we plan them properly. We scan, photograph and design the proposed smile digitally, then show you a preview — often as a temporary mock-up you can wear and live with — before we prepare anything.
They are not right for everyone. Significant crowding is better handled by moving teeth than by covering them, and a heavy grinding habit needs managing first or the porcelain will chip. We will tell you when a different treatment is the better answer.

Common questions
Porcelain Veneers
How long do veneers last?
Ten to fifteen years is a reasonable expectation with good hygiene and a night guard where indicated. They are replaceable when they wear out.
Will they look fake?
Not if they are designed to your face rather than to a catalogue. Layered porcelain has depth and translucency, and we design length and proportion around your lip line.
Is it reversible?
No — enamel removed to make room for a veneer does not grow back. That is exactly why we preview the result before we prepare a tooth.
