Teeth Whitening
Professional whitening, in-clinic or custom take-home trays.
Professional whitening lifts years of coffee, tea, red wine and time out of your enamel, under supervision, at a concentration that actually works and with your gums protected.
We offer both routes. In-clinic whitening is a single supervised appointment with a strong gel and an immediate result. Custom take-home trays are scanned to your teeth and worn for short sessions over a couple of weeks — slower, gentler on sensitivity, and easy to top up later.
Whitening lightens natural enamel. It does not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, so if you have visible restorations at the front we will plan the shade first and match the restorations to it afterwards.

Step by step
What to expect
Check first
Whitening a mouth with untreated decay or gum disease is uncomfortable and ineffective — we treat first.
Shade record
We record your starting shade so the result is measured, not remembered.
Whiten
One supervised in-clinic session, or custom trays and gel to use at home.
Maintain
A top-up plan, and honest advice about which habits will undo it fastest.
Common questions
Teeth Whitening
Will it make my teeth sensitive?
Some transient cold sensitivity is common and settles within a day or two. We can pre-treat with a desensitizing agent and slow the schedule if you are prone to it.
How long does it last?
Typically one to three years, heavily dependent on coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco. Take-home trays make topping up straightforward.
Is over-the-counter whitening the same?
No. Shop strips carry much weaker gel and no custom fit, so the gel reaches your gums as readily as your teeth. Results are slower and patchier.
