What happens next

From the call to the chair

Tell us what you need

A checkup, a specific problem, or a second opinion — whatever it is, say so when you call. It lets us give you the right length of appointment rather than a standard one.

We find you a time

We will offer you the earliest time that suits, and hold urgent problems back for same-day slots kept free each day.

Send your details ahead

We take your insurance details before the visit rather than at the desk afterwards, so we can tell you in advance what your plan covers.

Come in

Arrive a few minutes early for your first visit. Bring the list below and there is nothing else to organize.

Before you come

What to bring

  • A piece of photo ID.
  • Your dental insurance card, or the plan and certificate numbers.
  • A list of any medicines you take, including anything over the counter.
  • The name of your previous dentist, if you would like your records requested.
  • For a child's first visit: nothing at all — just them.
About feesWe follow the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide and direct-bill your insurer wherever your plan allows it. Because every mouth is different, we give you a written treatment estimate before any work begins — never a surprise at the desk.

Not sure which appointment you need? Have a look at what we do first, or just call and describe it — that is usually faster.

Questions

Before you book

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. New patients of every age are welcome, and you do not need a referral.

What happens at a first visit?

A full examination with 3D imaging and an intraoral scan, an oral cancer screening, a look at your gums, and a cleaning where there is time. You see everything we see on a screen beside the chair, and you leave with a written plan if anything needs doing.

Do you direct-bill my insurance?

We direct-bill most insurers wherever your plan allows it, so you pay only the portion your plan does not cover. Bring your card or the plan and certificate numbers and we will check the coverage before treatment starts.

I am nervous about dentists.

Say so when you book. We will allow extra time, agree a signal so you can stop us at any point, and explain what is about to happen before it happens. Nitrous oxide, oral sedation and full general anesthesia are all available here if you want them.

What if I need to change or cancel?

Call us as early as you can. Two working days' notice lets us offer the time to somebody else, which is the only reason we ask.

It is urgent — should I book here?

No. For pain, swelling or an injury, call us directly and say it is urgent, or read the emergency page first. We hold time free every day for exactly that.
